Jazz
Ape club was started in 2009 by bassist and composer Julius Lind and plays jazz at the crossroads of be-bop and early free jazz of the late fifties and early sixties, inspired by great composers such as Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane, Ornette Coleman and Charles Mingus. The band consists of Kasper Værnes on saxophone, Øyvind Brække on trombone, Julius Lind on bass and Erik Nylander on drums.
