St. Hood (FI) + Down My Throat (FI) [metallic hardcore]
The recently released first full-length CD of St. Hood represents the latest export from Finland's vicious metallic hardcore scene. Expect some hard hitting hardcore with a metallic touch. The comparison to Madball can be extended with a bit of Stigmata and some metal riffs here and there. Founded in 1996, Down My Throat's history is the longest one in the young Helsinki scene technical in-your-face beating is very much appreciated all over Finland. Comparisons are hard to make, for this hybrid of early Integrity, Strife, Merauder, At the Gates and 80's thrash metal bands.
