The music of Zu is difficult to define.A sort of fusion of Math Rock, Metal and noise rock. Instrumental music that destroys boundaries and defies genres. Unequalled drums, giant bass and distorted saxophone.
One constant element in Zus music is collaboration, and many of the bands albums are billed as collaborations with a guest musician (such as Mike Patton, Buzz Osbourne, and Nobukazu Takemura).
