The Delphine Trio and British Music Festival Holland are proud to present a programme of British music, written between 1913 and 2023. The concert on 16th June 2024 will include three works of very diverse nature: romantic, impressionistic music by John Ireland, the world premiere of an evocative trio by the celebrated composer-violist Simon Rowland Jones, and the deeply spiritual “Fantasy on an American Hymn Tune” by Kenneth Leighton, infusing various contemporary styles including jazz. The latter features on the Trio’s debut album “Adrift”, released earlier in 2024 with label TRPTK.
