The Plague started in the year 2003. Over the years the music developed from metal with a grunt to a more death/thrash orientated style of metal. After a couple of gigs it became clear that a second guitarist was needed. The drummer gave up his drumming-career to play second guitar. Ex-Ancient Curse's drummer decided to join The Plague, but that didn't work out. After a couple of months they finaly found a new drummer, ex-Vuist.
Death metal with influences from Pantera, The Crown and old school death metal bands.
