The WAX FLAMINGOS band was born at the end of 2012, with a voice, guitar and drums. Starting with a total immersion rehearsal schedule, they created a program of 13 songs over two weeks, and then hit the road for several very successful weeks of touring venues in Portugal, Spain and France.
That success continued over the next three years in both traditional concert venues and in many more challenging and fascinating sites, such as the Farm Sessions (for 1500 sheep), and the Beach Road Trip along the southern Iberian coast in 2015.
In 2014 they made it into the World Top 25 Hard Rock Rising Bands competition. And they began recording their first LP "Wetlands Rhapsody", which was released at the end of 2015.
