G R E Y I S C O N T R A S T. Hard versus soft, slow versus up-tempo, eccentric versus plain, refreshingly original versus cliché ridden, amused versus anguished.

Back in 1998 Grey rose out of the ashes of three former hardcore bands from Halle: A B N O R M A L , S K U F F and N A T U R E X X I .

But rather than pursuing the beaten path, Grey wants to break with trends. No image, no style, no genre, nothing but honest music, music we draw S T R E N G T H from and to which, hopefully, others can connect. Simply put, we like to play rock with balls.

Grey consists of 5 close F R I E N D S, who enjoy hanging out with each other and who try to convey this synergy into our music. Music made by 5 beating hearts, willing to share our feelings, thoughts, love, frustrations and insecurities.

E M O T I O N S and frustrations should be expressed freely. Consequently, the melodic arrangements can, at the same time, strike like a sledgehammer whack to the head.

Grey is and remains above all a group of friends committed to live our lives to the full through I N T E N S E music, hoping others will get the same kick out of it as we do.
