Dopethrone (CA) returns to Amsterdam! After their performance at the mighty Hellfest they'll play several shows, one of them in Amsterdam at Winston Kingdom.
Canada's 'sludge outlaws' started the band in 2008 in Montreal. Their sound contains the coldness of black metal, the persistence of New Orleans-style sludge and has a heavier-than-thou doom bite. Riffs are fat, tight and destructive, vocals are raw and intense. Dopethrone consisting of band members Vince (Guitar/Vocals), Carl (drums) and Vyk (bass) has released 4 well-received albums, of which the second one 'Dark Foil' ofte is mentioned as one of the better stoner albums. The most recent one 'Hochelaga' has been released last year.
