Seizure

Seizure is a Dutch metal band, founded in 1998. Bandmembers then where Aris, Vincent and Peter Kamminga. Vincent and Aris just left metal band Katafalk to start something new, Peter was singer in Cantara but wanted a brutal death metal next to it.

Leo decided to join the team after a succesfull practice session. In this formation the first demo " the Highest Rage " was recorded at the Redlight Studio in Groningen and great shows were played in Holland.

In 2001 Jurjen K (formal Katafalk, present Obtuse) joined the band playing bass and Peter Kamminga left. Without a singer the band continued making great new brutal songs. Jaap Heling (formal Grey, Tefilla) did a good job singing a gig in Emmeloord, but wasn't the man for the job. He found his place in Nomen.

2002 was the year to complete parts from the puzzle. To compete in the Metal Battle we asked Mats (formal Salacious Gods) and the formula appeared succesfull. Not only the first round, but also victory was ours. More important: the shows were great.

Now Seizure has recorded 7 of 10 songs for the album "the Hateflow Virus" and hopes to kick a lot of ass on stage this year.
